Can I use this vitamin C serum in the morning?
Yes, this serum contains a biotech ingredient that is a rare oil form of the vitamin C. It is stable and is not photosensitive, so it is perfect for the morning.
I have sensitive skin. Could this irritate my skin?
No, because the rare oil-form of vitamin C in this serum is non-acidic and extremely well-absorbed by the skin. As a result, it is non-photosensitive and effective without irritation. For sensitive skin, we recommend not to massage the product into the skin, and instead gently spread and pat the product on.
I have reactive skin, can I use this serum?
We recommend you do a small patch test on the inside of your elbow for a couple of days. Then, we would recommend you mix 1 drop of the serum in your light moisturising cream for a week. Then, increase to 2 drops for another week, then to 3 drops for another week, and then apply directly on your skin. The product improves damaged skin barriers, so once your skin gets used to it, it will also improve your skin reactivity.
Will Vitamin C Serum in Oil work on my deep-set wrinkles?
It will help the skin’s collagen level to plump the skin, rejuvenating its texture and the appearance of fine wrinkles. Beyond the appearance of the skin, it provides longer term, lasting benefits for skin cell health that will help to combat future skin ageing.
I get occasional acne breakouts. Will Vitamin C Serum in Oil help?
Yes, our Vitamin C Serum-in-Oil’s antioxidant and anti-inflammatory elements will help minimise acne and blemishes. If you get occasional breakouts, our Vitamin C Serum-in-Oil will help the blemishes clear up more quickly.
Can teenagers use this product?
Yes, teens can use this product. They can use it as a single product moisturiser, to target minor blemishes, and to help protect from the sun (as an antioxidant).
How fast do I have to finish the bottle before it oxidises? Will it stain my pillowcase orange?
Unlike ascorbic acid, this serum will not oxidise. But like all oils and oil forms, use it within a period of 6 months once opened. This serum will not turn orange or yellow to stain your fingers or sheets.
Can I use it morning and night?
Because this is a potent product, we would recommend it once a day, preferably in the morning. However, if you are on a beach holiday or you have had a strong sun exposure during the day, application of this serum again at night will be beneficial.
How do I combine it with the Cellular Hydration Serum?
Gently massage 3-5 drops of the Cellular Hydration Serum into your skin first, then apply 3-5 drops of our Vitamin C Serum-in-Oil.
